Our Starting Point
When we started, we were both carrying significant weight—my husband and I each weighed 219 pounds. Life felt heavy in more ways than one. Simple activities like walking or going out became daunting. I often stayed home because it was such an effort to find clothes that didn’t highlight my size. I felt trapped by my body and the pain it caused me in my knees, hips, and back.
The Results
Now, just months later, the difference is incredible. Together, we’ve lost a total of 140 pounds—I’ve lost 79 pounds, and my husband has lost 61 pounds!
Our energy levels are through the roof, and we both move with ease. The constant pain that once limited me is completely gone, and I no longer feel like I’m in my 90s.
I’ve gone from a size 2X and 20 in pants to a size 8. My tops, once XXL, are now a medium or small. My husband’s transformation has been just as dramatic—he went from a size XXL to medium in shirts and from size 48 to size 34 in pants. The only downside? All the new clothes we’ve had to buy! But what a fun problem to have—we’re enjoying the opportunity to dress in stylish and fun outfits again.

This has been more than just a weight loss journey; it’s been a renewal of life for us. We’ve been able to reduce medications and feel healthier than we have in years. Every day, we’re grateful for the energy and excitement this change has brought into our lives.
