I’m 43 years old and a mother of two. I started my journey on June 25, 2024, and I’m currently down somewhere around 70-75 pounds (fluctuates depending on the day).
I’ve told several people… “It’s not a super cheap option… but if somebody had shown up last winter and offered me my current figure for $2 grand… I would’ve gladly paid.”
My mom is now following my lead and has started the medication as well.
As for side effects? Some constipation—but that’s always entirely my own fault for getting behind on water intake and my magnesium gummy vitamins. Whenever it starts, I get myself back on track pretty quickly. I’ve also had some increased hair shedding, but nothing extreme—no bald spots or anything. Honestly, with the rate I’ve lost weight, I expected some shedding. Kind of unavoidable.
But that’s it.
Every other effect of this medication has been an improvement.

a more manageable monthly cycle
improved sleep quality, reduced allergy symptoms
increased energy
better focus on daily tasks
Within just five days, my mom (who had just started) hadn’t even lost any weight yet when someone out of the blue complimented her, saying she looked nicer than usual. She was confused—what were they noticing?
I told her… “It’s the look of HOPE that has returned to your face.”
And I was kind of joking… but also, I could see it too.
Whoever invented these meds deserves a Nobel Prize 🏆.
