Hi there! I’m Maria a 30-year-old from Michigan. My journey with weight loss and PCOS

a 48 hour response time and it almost always took that full amount between responses
and limited workers on the weekends. This made communication painfully slow and not
very helpful. I was highly disappointed that they were aware of industry shortages and
put that burden on me rather than trying to help me or educate me on the process
upfront.

After my unsatisfactory experience with Ro.co, I decided to go back and research my

prescription for Zofran was at the pharmacy in another 10 and I was picking it up 30

Side Effects
I have had only mild side effects with tirzepatide, my biggest being nausea. With the
side note that I have always been a very naturally nauseous before starting any
medications. I have found that all my side effects are also indicators I am not taking
care of my body the way it needs as well! For example I can control nausea with Zofran
or pepto, but it’s a sign I haven’t eaten or drank enough or consistently enough – small
portions throughout the day really help me!
Tiredness-
Tiredness is another side effect I have had. I am a very active human and dealing with
tiredness was hard for me until I realized that my body saying I need fuel aka protein!
Learning to eat when you appetite is significantly reduce takes time too! I am finding
effiecent and palatable ways to increase my proteins to give me energy and support my
weightloss. I love cottage cheese in so many things alone, in pasta sauce, and in cookie
dough (check out my video- sooo good).

Active Lifestyle vs. Weight Struggles:
My active lifestyle had always been a source of joy, but it was also a reminder of my
ongoing battle with weight. I play volleyball and pickleball in leagues multiple times a
week. I also mountain bike, ride my horse and keep up with a huge houseplant

Despite my love for sports and outdoor activities, the scale refused to budge. It wasn't until I found Emerge that I truly felt in control of my body and my health.
